Bury's Co-Production Strategy and Charter

We have developed a Co-Production Strategy and Charter between Bury Council, Bury Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) with the views of parents/carers represented by BURY2GETHER and representatives of the SEND Youth Forums and Bury STARS representing the child/young person’s voice.

The purpose of the strategy and the charter is to provide a framework and explain the importance of and the benefits this way of working will bring for children, young people, parents/carers and also leaders, decision makers, commissioners, service leads and front line managers for SEND services.

It describes how children, young people and parents/carers can participate at all levels from consultation to co-production and sets out how all partners will work together to develop and shape services in Bury to support positive outcomes for children, young people and their parents/carers.

The charter describes the aims and principles underpinning co-production with children, young people and parents/carers in Bury
