Mental Health Support in the Community
If more specialist help is needed and you may be put in touch with the local Community Mental Health services.
There are a number of services and teams in Bury who are there to support the small number of people with more persistent and potentially serious mental health problems. The majority of these people will recover and live a full life but may need support to do so.
Community Mental Health services are a partnership of health and social care services working together with organisations in the voluntary sector to agree the best way to offer that support. Below are details of the location of the two Community Mental Health teams based in Bury.
Community Mental Health Teams
North Community Mental Health Team
Address: Humphrey House, Angouleme Way, Bury BL9 OBQ
South Community Mental Health Team
Address: 1a Lord Street, Radcliffe M26 3AF
You need to have a medical diagnosis of a mental health problem before the CMHTs can support you.
If you find yourself in a crisis please contact our Access & Crisis team on 0161 716 1080.
Bury Council do not promote or endorse any of the services listed in this Directory. For more information on this please read our disclaimer here.
