Consultation Event 'Friendly Bury' 30 Jan 2018

We would like to invite you to a consultation and engagement event at which we will outline Bury Council’s vision for a ‘Friendly Bury’. The event will focus on age-friendly, dementia friendly and autism friendly communities but will also set the scene for extending this further.

At this event, we will be consulting on Bury’s Age-Friendly plan, Bury’s Dementia Improvement plan and Bury’s Plan for People with Autism. We are interested to know your views on how we can make Bury a better place to live for everyone. This will include looking at housing, transport, services and neighbourhoods. What are the small changes we can all make which will benefit the community and enable people to remain living their own homes for as long as possible? This event will be your chance to make a big difference to the lives of people living in Bury. As such, we would like attendance from professionals working in Bury and from those who live in Bury.

Details of the event are:

Date: Tuesday 30th January 2018

Time: 9.30am – 12.30pm

Venue: Longfield Suite, Prestwich, M25 1AY (tea, coffee and fruit will be available)
