Art and Minds Wellbeing Group

This friendly group meets Wednesday mornings at Wellspring House for a mix of creative activities, mindfulness, coffee and a chat. It is a great way to meet new people and in a welcoming, relaxed environment.

Arrive from 9:45 AM for a cup of tea or coffee. Each session starts at 10.00 AM with a short mindfulness exercise. There is an opportunity each week to do some creative work.  There is a break at around 11am and the session finishes at 12 noon.

There is usually a broad theme for the session and a selection of materials available.  Recent work has included collage, drawing, colouring mandalas, working with clay, mark making, painting pebbles and water colours. During the summer when the weather is fine there is the option of spending time in the garden.

Taking part in creative activities enhances wellbeing and is as great way to relax, de-stress and connect with others. Find out more about Art for Wellbeing
