Age Friendly Moorside - Investing in your ideas to make your area more Age Friendly

Age Friendly Moorside has been set up by Ambition for Ageing, Bury. Ambition for Ageing is a £10.2 million lottery funded programme across Greater Manchester led by Groundwork BBOR in Bury. The project aims to reduce social isolation and create more Age Friendly communities through listening to what local residents want to see in their area and then helping make ideas a reality.

We meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Anglers Association at The Lido at Clarence Park in Bury from 10am - 12 noon. It's the building opposite Age UK.

We discuss new ideas, help design people's ideas into projects as well as discussing what people like/ dislike about their area. We also provide information about what is already going on in the local area.

We do all this over tea/coffee and biscuits which are provided FREE of charge.
