How to pay for school meals

Pay Online

Most schools in the borough accept debit card, credit card and PayPal payments via the Council's online payment system. Payments should be made in advance, but there are no set amounts to pay. You can check your school meals credit balance by contacting your child's school: Find a school.

Check if your child's school uses the online payment system: Schools using Bury Council's online payment system.

You will need your child's pupil number, to make a payment (13-digit reference starting with a letter). Please contact your child's school if you do not know this number.

Pay by Phone

You can also make debit card or credit card payments by phone on 0300-456-0542 (24 hour automated payment line, calls cost the same as those to normal home or business landline numbers starting with 01 or 02).
