About this service
A free support and information service for people in Bury who need help to maintain or find a tenancy.
Our team of Floating Support Officers empower people faced with tenancy related issues to develop individual living skills in order to live independently with confidence.
We also provide information, guidance and signposting to access services for support with issues including finances, benefits, relationships, employment, training, volunteering, social activities and opportunities, as well as physical and mental wellbeing.
In addition to one-to-one support sessions, we also offer support in the form of drop-in sessions and group sessions to increase independence and improve wellbeing.
On top of providing floating support, we also manage some dispersed accommodation across Bury in which we can house individuals threatened with or experiencing homelessness for a period of up to six months, whilst providing them with support to develop their independent living skills and to move on to successfully sustain their own tenancies.
