Bury Music Service provides high quality music tuition in all schools across the Bury district.
Children can learn all orchestral & concert band instruments, including piano & guitar and they have free loan of an instrument (not piano/guitar), we have a free graded testing system in order to prepare pupils for further music examinations.
Instruments include:
- Strings: Violin/Viola/Cello/Double Bass
- Brass: Cornet/Trumpet/Trombone/Baritone/French Horn/Tenor Horn
- Woodwind: Flute/Clarinet/Oboe/Bassoon/Saxophone
- Guitar: Classical/Electric
- Percussion: Drums
- Piano: Piano/Keyboard
We also teach vocal training in selected secondary schools.
We also run fantastic ensembles, giving pupils the opportunity to play/sing in orchestras, bands & choirs in order to later take part in some of the concerts and events we are involved in & of course make lasting friendships.
First year is discounted for new starters!
