The Early Years Development Team consists of 1 full time lead Officer, and 2 fulltime equivalent Early Years Support Workers.

The team support the delivery of the following early years pathways
- Bury Early Years Speech and Language Pathway
- Physical Development Pathway
- And Social Emotional and Wellbeing Pathway (which is currently under development)
This work involves delivery of parent and child workshops and development sessions, play sessions and information sessions and drop in’s.
The team also support Early Education Settings with work linked to the pathways. This involves delivering training sessions such as WellComm, Speech and Language Support, Building Blocks to Words, Building Blocks to Movement, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development Training.
