About this service
Greater Manchester Probation Trust is a statutory agency which provides a wide range of services to the courts and to the criminal justice system.
The trust's strategic aim is to ensure offenders successful completion of their community orders and licences.
Other aims are to protect the public, reduce re-offending, the proper punishment of offenders in the community, ensuring offenders awareness of the effect of crime on the victims and the public and the rehabilitation of offenders.
