About this service
Hello my name is Kath Portlock and I have been an OFSTED Registered childminder in the Ainsworth and Elton area of Bury for over 16 years. I have a First Class Degree in Early Childhood and Education.
My aim
Is to provide a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment, build positive relationships with the children in my care and make sure their individual needs are met so they can reach their full potential. As well as providing for children’s basic needs for food, drink, rest and comfort I will be planning activities that give your children the opportunity to develop. I believe children learn best through play and I hope to enable them to develop both emotionally and socially, learn language, literacy and basic numeric skills and also develop them both physically and creatively.
