About this service
We are a team of dedicated volunteers, helping children and adults to develop their IT and digital skills to a standard at par or above their peers. We give the participants the opportunity to do it themselves, by encouraging them and giving them the tools and guidelines that prompt them to realise they can do it, thereby building their confidence to develop a ‘can-do’ attitude. We have the best team to create outstanding results.
Volunteering gives you the opportunity to give something back to the community and make a positive impact in the lives of children, young people and adults in the community. Volunteering is rewarding, knowing you are sowing into the future generation. Contact us to find out how you can make an impact too.
We here at Sovereign House GH are always open to new volunteers looking to help out in their free time. There are various ways you can volunteer.

Notes
We are a charity that provides computing classes to people of all ages (including adults and children 7-16yrs) and abilities. This opportunity allows those wanting to expand their technological knowledge and reach their potential, to gain valuable practical experience within a designated computer suite located in Bury town centre. Attending computing classes helps to grow confidence navigating technology and is a desirable skill for employability. the classes are run by staff and volunteers (which we are always happy to recruit) that follows a structured computing program specific to certain ages and levels of ability. Therefore, we would like to appear in various categories such as ; adult learning & education, children's education and afterschool clubs, volunteering & work experience, activities for over 50's and private tutoring as we feel we cover many categories listed.
